I WANT TO GO - PERHAPS 2013!!!

I was just looking through some of the Archiver's photos on their facebook page and drooling. I would love to go to this!!! It looks absolutely fantastic. I'm assuming that there is accommodation at the mall of America so everybody stays there as well. Wow!

Well we were supposed to be in the US for my birthday this year, in January, and it just didn't happen. The finances were under way too much strain so we had a week in Warrnambool instead.

Now don't get me wrong, I just love Warrnambool and would move there tomorrow, (Warrnambool in Victoria, Australia for those of you that don't know) but it was a bit of a disappointment for my big birthday!

This is Honeysuckle Cottage where we stayed! :)

So what about next year! Well, I can dream, can't I?

Have you ever been to this event? Please leave a comment and let me know what it was like. Or have you been to another scrapping event that was fantastic? I'd love to hear about it.

Archivers Scrapfest

Did you get a chance to attend Archivers Scrapfest?
As always, the buzz from the event was huge! The event took place September 14-16, 2012 at the Mall of America in MN, and featured classes, make & takes, shopping, celeb sightings and more. Here are links to some reports & photos from the show:

If you have links to additional ScrapFest 2012 photos, share them in the comments! Meanwhile, the ScrapFest for 2013 date has been set for September 20-22, 2013 so go ahead & mark your calendars!
Well I'm off to a fabulous weekend of scrapping in Lancefield in a few weeks on a slightly smaller scale that the Mall Of America event - I think there are seven of us - and I just can't wait!
This is Sewjourn where we stay. A gorgeous little cottage on the main street of Lancefield.
And this is the studio where we scrap which is a few steps away from the cottage in the yard.

I know from previous experience we will have lovely food, because our personal chef is a legend, and we will scrap feverishly, and laugh, laugh, laugh until we cry! It really is better than therapy - and cheaper too! I will post some photos of our event as soon as I can. Perhaps just as glamorous as when we all had homemade facemasks and cucumber slices on last time!!!

WOW!

Just had a look at my cluster map, which is on my sidebar, as it fascinates me as to how far and wide the people are who look at my blog.

There was a tiny yellow dot, which means a recent visitor, way out in the Pacific Ocean! ( boy I hope I've got the ocean right or it will be a bit embarrassing!)

Hellooooooo out there!

Are you scrapbooking on a cruise ship?
Or sailing on a yacht?

Or marooned on a tiny island with only you, your scrapping supplies and the internet???? (Oh, I Wish!)
Or are you a secret scrapbooking submariner?????? Now I love a weekend crop away myself and I'll go anywhere to get away but even that is a bit extreme for me!
Well WHOEVER you are, and WHERE EVER you are I am so glad you visited my blog, even if you got here by mistake, and I would love it if you left a comment or became a follower!!!
Happy Scrapping,
Shell

UPLOADING NEW STUFF TO FACEBOOK

I must admit I have promised to spend more time on this blog and have automatically reverted to almost ignoring it again by uploading more stuff onto the facebook page, Aussie Craft and Scrapbooking Bargains. I think the link below will work and then you go to albums and my album, Shelley Menhennet's Album, is there on the list. But don't restrict yourself and just buy from me. The bargains to be had on this site are many and varied, and membership is growing every day! It is an amazing facebook page/little community!

http://www.facebook.com/groups/223004024430432/

Uploading stuff onto the facebook page is often crazy and can take up lots of time, especially when the page is busy but once the photos and details are up there then maintaining the album is quite easy. So today I have had scrapping stuff everywhere on, around and under my desk, have had an ebay buyer from the other side of Melbourne message me and then do a home visit as she was on her way to a party in Geelong, to buy some cartridges for her glue gun, have tried to assist the kids as they clean and tidy those spaces that are supposedly their bedrooms, went down to the shops to pick up presents for Adam to hand out at our Junior Football club Presentation day tomorrow as well as a bit of other shopping, washed, dried and sorted a MOUNTAIN of laundry, and watched from my seat at the computer as my lovely husband Adam, well he is lovely sometimes, gave the kitchen a decent clean up!  He even sorted out the overflowing saucepan drawer with some help from gorgeous Georgie! And I could sit and watch them as my computer desk is just on the other side of the kitchen bench where it becomes the family room!Thank you to Addie and his Sweet Pea!!!

And I wonder why I haven't got time to do much blogging!!!!
